Looking to buy a good shakey head rod under $150. Any suggestions would be great

Do yourself a favor and spend 150 on a J.miles custom shakey head rod. You won't regret it. I use about a 7'3" medium action.

Like they said, John Miles makes great rods and he always stands behind his product. Tri-State in Cleveland has a big selection of his rods.

before you spend $150, go to Sportsman's and look at the Fenwick HMX and the St. Croix rods. I picked up the Fenwick last year for around $79. Great rod, perfect for shakey heads. I also got a great deal on a St. Croix at Dick's. They were not advertised but they were closing out the $180 rods for $75. You had to ask, no signs or anything.

We'll went to tristate today and got me a 7ft med action john miles spinning rod. Can't wait to take it out tomorrow and hopefully catch some on it!

Great choice!! I just got this same John Miles rod at Tri-State Tackle a month ago and it has great sensitivity and feel. Good luck catching some fish on it.
