Looking at the TVA web site this morning the lake is almost at 682. That is full summer time pool. Normally they don't intentionally hit that level until about mid May but with all this rain it is there already. When the Chick level is at 681.25 to about 682.5 that is the full pool range. Looking at all the rain coming I will be very surprised if they drop it below full pool again until the Fall. emoThumbsup This should make for a better spawn this year. I hope it does. With high water levels and a higher maintained level during the spawning months we have a much better spawn success rate on our lake. Looking good right now. emoToast Jmax

Lets hope they keep it up this time and don't drop it again.

And those spawners are hard to make bite in muddy water!!

Fished all day on Wednesday and caught 15 and not one was over 2lbs.

I saw several big bass in around a foot and a half of water today, and they had some serious lockjaw. It does look like they are moving to the flats though.
