Guys, Needing advice from you crappie pros, Have any of you tried the B&M Sharpshooter crappie rods for dock shooting? Are they a good choice, does anyone in this area sell these rods? Thanks in advance for your advice. Is there another rod you prefer?

I have one. It's a good shooting rod, but no better than my Gander Mountain Advantage rod. The B n M has Tennessee style reel seat that I don't like very much. It's basically two loose rings that allow your reel to go anywhere on the handle. Only bought it cause it was less than half price at a consignment shop. I've never seen them anywhere else locally. I'd buy the Gander Mt. rod if I had the choice between the two. Not sure of its exact length and action but it's very similar to the B n M
