Small mouth below Chickamauga dam

Ok so I'm sitting here at rivermont watching my boy play and the wife asked if the small mouth fishing was good below the dam it's been years since I have been fishing below the dam anyone have any pointers I know it can be good when the flow is up but looking at tva app it's really slow any help would be good were going on monday and I have a bass boat so the sky is the limit

Just got off the water from below the dam this evening. The flow is not really enough to turn the fish on yet...IMO. I actually went looking for spots this afternoon. Hooked two, lost two. Got up closer to the flow by the bridges and hooked up with some hard fighting white bass and some nice bream. I have caught some smallmouth while doing this, but not today. Used a 1/8 oz white roadrunner.

Thanks fly caster we will just ride about and see what we can manage I know it's going to be tough with low flow coming down the river
