Transducer question.

I have a helix 7 DI 2d sonar unit. Mounted at console. Gonna be buying a a helix 7 gps DI model in the very near future. I'm wanting to move the non gps model to the bow and put the new gps model at the console. My question is can I use the transducer that's with my non gps unit since it's alright mounted and ran to the console or will I have to change out the whole transducer set up and re run and re mount the transducer for the gps model.

Should be the exact same transducer, so yes, put the new one at the console and use the old one with the new transducer on the trolling motor.

Thanks for the reply. I thought it would work but just wanted to see if anyone could tell me for sure it would.

The GPS should have nothing to do with the transducer. Like Johnny said you should be good to go.
