Ran into Scott Martin at Academy in Hixson today. Saw his boat and truck. My ford just went that way on its own. Think I embarrassed my wife but Scott was a super nice guy.

Was buying some soft plastics, a net, and some square bill crainkbaits. He was filming before he went Guntersville.

Goes to show that even with a boat and truck load of lures and equipment, you never have exactly what you need as conditions change., etc

Scott Martin just posted a YouTube video about his trip to guntersville. It also shows before and after his trip with gabe king fishing upriver.

It doesn't really show fishing he just talks about it.

Thinking about going down to Guntersville Saturday for weigh in. What time would I need to get there to see everything before weigh in, and would there really be much to see at an FLW event?

i went to one and I think it was 1:00 pm when things got really busy. That was on a Sunday though. I wouldn't think it would be different for a Saturday.

I've been to a few- Beaver, Table Rock, Chickamauga and the Cup at Wheeler. I will be going down on Sunday. The Expo is very cool. Most major sponsors are there, The Ranger Boats Simulator and games for kids. Most of the pro's who did not make the final day cut will be working at sponsors booths giving out cards, meeting folks and signing autographs. Its a lot of fun. Especially chatting with the pros. I'll also be going to the BASS Elite Cherokee final weigh in at Knoxville. Love this stuff!
