Man I was fishing last saturdat at tims ford good bites are hard to get well long story had 2 better than average then about 10 am I cast arig with a 8 inch lizard on a point a hit not a bump set the hook runns towrd me im cranking then she turns now this was a fairly heavy fish it comes off after cranking the rig in the lizard ir perfect not slid down or pulled through do yall thi k sometimes a bigger. Fish will take the bait in and hold on to the line and release it when u start bring ing it up can they hold on to the line above the bait just wondering

I have brought several bass all the way to the boat only to see them come off and the
Hook never penetrated the worm at all. They just hang onto the shakey head.
