Hey guys, would like your opinions on the best spot light for the buck, what is the minimum lumen rating you think you need, and anything else you think we need to know. Looking to stock the very best light for bass boats, would love your input....Rigid? Cyberlights? LED?

I just picked up a 300 lumen LED and I don't think you'd want to go any lower. It works ok but I will probably upgrade in the future. What I like about it is its rechargeable with a 5 hour run time on high, and was $50 and when I upgrade it will be a handy light to have around. What I don't like about it is it comes with a 12v charge plug, but you can't run the light that way, only charge. I thought it would or I would have kept looking.

The Bluewater cyber lights are great for the money. I have been running one for 3 years and have not had an issue.

Johnny, have you seen the new TH Marine light that mounts on trolling motor mount?

Just don't get one with its own special rechargeable battery. If it goes bad you might as well throw the whole light away. I like the ones that take regular batteries.

I've been running a handheld Streamlight Waypoint for a few years. It's been a good one, not the brightest on the market, but it throws a good beam perfect for finding a buoys.

I have the Rigid led light that mounts to the front of my fortrex I love it an it easy to mount.I wasnt cheap but if you didnt know it was there you wouldnt see it

I have a cyber lite 400 from Bluewater. Wired it to a foot switch for my left foot under the console. Very pleased. Like day time. Mounted on a Large Ram mount behind TM and it peeks out to the side. It's covered in dead may flies at the moment but still shines bright.

I have the TH marine light and am not happy with it at all. It's really not bright enough. I'm looking for something different to put on my boat so keep all the opinions coming.
