I ws just wondering do any of u flip at night im vfishing woods resavoir sat nite it has about 3 foot of grass all arou d edge of lake almost all over its almost like little cane dont know what it is just wondered

I would not hesitate. If you let your eyes adjust and you can judge the weed edge it should be fun. You won't be able to see your line swimming out to the side but your other senses will get sharper after while in the dark. If you sense something like weightlessness set the hook. Just don't get a grill full of Trokar. emoSmile

flipping at night can be effective but i would favor more aggressive techniques as the fish usually feed more aggressively after the lights go out

You can do it no problem especially with the help of a black light. Sounds like a big dark ribbit buzzed on those edges would be my thoughts or burning a big night time spinnerbait along that grass.

I've flipped out a few just under and over 5lbs already at night. Spinnerbait and some kind of buzz bait topwater like Churly said are are super effective. Once you go Black at night you won't go back! The last few days and nights have been just amazing since the temps have been down.
