To the AH in the white boat with black stripes that ran between me and the bank tonight at 10 minutes after 9 across the river from Harbor Lights by the island.....you better check your prop. You jerked at least 20 yards of line off of my reel. I hope you made your weigh in.

Hey at least you got some line back! That happened to me a few years ago and I had just put a fresh spool of line on. I was 20 ft from the bank and this guy cuts in between me and the bank as he nicked his prop on the shallow rocks I was fishing and completely spooled me. He had a couple people with him and they just put there hands over there mouth and looked back as he was completely oblivious! NUTS! There is still some good etiquette out there but its this stuff that just sticks out!

was it a bass cat with a red headed guy driving?

uh... my Basscat is maroon with no white and I was upriver all night. But... you drive a white Astro with a Black stripe and that's exactly where you were fishing. I wasnt going to call you out but looks like I will have to now.

Was it him man?!?!

what do you think? He drives a white Astro with a black stripe, he was fishing around those islands and flat and he drives stuffing his face with donuts not watching where hes going. I bet it was him.

My boat has a blue stripe with a 125hp. I figured it was you since you did the same thing to me last month. I really wish you would not run so close to people when they are trying to fish.

Oh I thought it was a black stripe. I guess it just looks black since you haven't washed it since 1987. I ran over your line on purpose because you parked 25 ft from me throwing a buzzbait in 40 feet of water.

Creekrunner if you would stop following me around trying to get my fishing spots I wouldn't have done that.

Etiquette on the lake has gone away.

Agreed and it isn't just the young and inexperienced. The rudeness seems to be contagious. The so called pros in their wrapped boats showed us how to crowd people out of spots and now everybody seems to be doing it.

In the past couple months ve had 3 people scan circles around my boat while I fished, one shut down and throw within 15' of the boat because they saw a bent rod, got cut off going down a bank then got cussed because I caught fish behind him, and a guy run in, shut down, and start fishing a ledge as I was putting the trolling motor down to fish.

I usually just leave and go elsewhere but that guy pushed me over the edge. I nearly stomped holes in the deck of my boat just making noise before I left after the last one. Etiquette left long ago

That's why I no longer even go to chickamauga lake. Too many idiots out there. Wait til somebody gets hit or shot and it will stop. Tournaments are killing your lake!!!

If I fished chick I'd jade an offshore rod with trebles and a huge pyramid sinker tied on. Those things cast far. I'd imagine they would leave a nice mark on a boat or someone's face. This is just hypothetical of course. Theoretically speaking sounds like they would be in casting range and they happened to be in your cast line
