Ultrex foot pedal froze.

Bought a new Ultrex and on the second trip the foot pedal has froze. Just called Minn Kota and they are having problems with the circuit board. There is a newly designed unit coming out. I will have to take my trolling motor to a dealer for repair. FYI you may want to wait till this problem is resolved before buying a Ultrex. I was told it would be 4-5 weeks before the boards start shipping. So in the mean time I guess I'm not fishing.

That sux. Hate being down b/c of the trolling motor. Thats why I have 3 motorguide 82's for back up! Been there to many times.

From what I am reading on Bass Boat Central all the Ultrex's are ticking time bombs.
