SmartStrike showing no data on all species when searched?

I picked up SmartStrike for the Helix 10 SI/GPS. On basic species searches on the Chick it never returns any data at all. I've tried all species and changed the criteria from times of day, sun, wind, etc. No data was ever shown on the map for any of them? Am I missing something or do the basic searches work for anyone else?

So are you sure you aren't just missing it? It looks like it is pretty hard to see the purple that is showing and there is not much of it. Here is the video that I watched on it. Also it only works with lake master mapping</p>

You can zoom out and it gives you markers anywhere there is an area for the search making it easy to locate.

I will have to try custom searches next time to see if it works at all.

Back on the water finally. Worked fine today for LM! Not sure what was going on before?

Close to the end of day when I did the search but the few spots I checked deep 18-25' had fish. Looked like mostly ledges and tight contour lines and also points. Didn't catch them though. emoBooHoo I think someone with more experience could have reeled some in. Had several shallow spots too but I didn't check any of them.
