Right! You could win every tournament on the lake with sacks like that!! I caught them pretty good today using the same pattern i've been using for a month and it's baitfish and shallow! DT 6 has been my go to bait. Makes me think Mr. Fitzgerald is catching them deeper with size like that. I know for a fact there are still big fish deep. I've not been fishing any tournaments lately so I'm not to worried about catching 25lb bags. And I have to say it's kind of nice. It's been a lot of fun catching schooling fish over the last month. Usually fall is kind of tough for me but this year has been a blast!

stockcarm14 - 10/16/2017 11:43 PM I had a good friend fishing the heartland classic and had helped him get on some fish during the week we were fishing some shallow shell beds with a swim jig. he ended up 4th on the pattern. the bite seems to be picking up. in the Dayton tournament sunday someone had 21 pounds with 3 fish. 1 was over 11 and another around 8 we managed about 15 pounds sunday off the same spot after it got hammered all weekend especially after he set on it all day fri and brought it almost 20 pounds I guess people took notice and took it over before he got there sat morning on day 2 he finished with 32 pounds 2 day total.
