Have any of you ever got one of these for selling anything on eBay? The graph that I have posted on here is also cross-posted on eBay (Lowrance Elte 5TI). Check out this message I received today:

RE: Tortious Interference with Contract

We have been retained by Navico, Inc. (“Navico”) and its family of brands (including Lowrance, Simrad and B&G) in regard to issues related to your tortious interference. All Authorized Navico Dealers and Resellers are required to execute a Dealer or Reseller Agreement. Navico has no record that it has authorized your business to resell its products. Unauthorized sellers who induce Authorized Dealers or Resellers to sell Navico products to them tortiously interfere with the Dealer/Reseller Agreement. Please read the attached letter detailing further information.

Please let us know by Monday, December 4 what steps you are taking to discontinue your tortious interference. This letter is sent without prejudice as to the other rights and remedies available to our client, including without limitation, an accounting for damages and profits, in the event that litigation is necessary.

Sincerely,
Jennifer G. Roma for Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough

Have any of you ever got one of these? I didn't know that I was doing anything wrong by posting a gift for sale that I didn't need. Do you guys think it was because I listed it as new? Im at a loss here.

I wouldn't worry about it since you are not a retailer and probably have no track record of multiple sales. It would cost the client a ton of money to sue you for what? Re-gifting or re-selling a fish finder? Let us know if they follow up!I guess you could google the law team to see if they are real.

I let them know that I was a private party selling my own personal property. We will see what happens. I'm with you though. It just seems kind of fake to me.
