Fishing Lake Lanier

Just was checking to see if anyone had any tips on Lake Lanier only fished their one time in my life and that was last Saturday,only caught one spotted bass about 2 pounds all day I know it’s a deep lake and hard to fish the club I’m in has a tournament their Feb 17 going to try it again Friday we fished the south end but plain to go north this Friday closer to where we will be launching from any help will be appreciated thanks

slow roll a 3-4" swimbait in pearl white on an 1/8oz head and 6-8lb flouro or mono. throw it any and everywhere. down the sides of docks is big, stay way back from them. the spots LOVE them!

For this time of year it's a dropshot and a blade bait for me. Gotta be flexible on depth - could be as shallow as 10' or less, they could be holding over brush in 30-40'. I haven't used a damiki rig on Lanier but think it could be effective to fish suspended deeper.
