What line and size do you y'all recommend? What colors do you think works well in a lake like Watts bar? TIA

fluorocarbon. 10 to 12lb test . I like seaguar invisx. Watts Bar is very clear especially in the wintertime. Crystal Shad and TN shad would be my choices.

I am using 12lb shooter. Funny this came up... I went out in the Kayak yesterday and this was the only bait I could get bit on. Had to fish it crazy slow. I started counting seconds between twitchs... magic number was 6. 6 seconds of just letting it sit there and then you would see the line jump..

Caught about 20 like that in a 50 acre private lake I was on... lot of fun.

It was nice to get out and fish... my boat hasn't been in the water since Thanksgiving.</p>

The guy I was fishing with Saturday caught a few dragging a small worm... also letting it sit dead stick.</p>
