The latest TWRA Chickamauga Lake fishing report. Keyword: Slow -- and I thought it was just me ?

It's not that bad. Just depends on the day. I had 9 keepers with a 6lb kicker a couple days ago and yesterday caught 1 fish on the same pattern. One day it's great and then the next two is a grind. Just makes those great days even better!

Trust me I feel yah JB!! Those tough days are tough for sure especially when that wind is blowing! I did find one area last week that was crazy and it was in 33ft water. We didn't catch anything but an 18lb striper all day (awesome fight on 6 lb test) and then found this hole that was loaded with dead shad and a lot of big fish feeding on it below us. We caught 4 different fish down there in 30 min. and none were bass( I have caught bass down there before too), but it was fun and they were all big. Find that hole where those 5, 20lbers are hiding together that rogne has't found yet and you got yourself 100lb bag! It just takes 5 casts to get your name in the magazines! You just better not take them home and eat them or the Bass Security Squad will come find you and they will eat you too!

Patiently waiting.... especially since we have had a taste of real winter weather. Fish gonna light up fast for those who can hang on!!!!
