Hey guys, I will be buying a new boat in about a year. Have a few questions that I am looking to get answered.
1st, does anyone have a Tracker 195 with the 150 hp mercury. How does it ride, handle, and speed? Hole shot and top speed.
2nd: same question on Triton 18' unit
3rd: the tracker 195 comparison to theTriton and say the Z18. Looking at New boats with full warranty. Any info would be appreciated.

I might try to compare an Xpress aluminum boat to a fiberglass boat but not a bass tracker of any model.

What he said! My Tracker has not held up terribly well after several summers of weekly usage. I’d imagine the ride wouldn’t be too good with the 150.

My triton vt 17 has held up well but it's not a dry or smooth ride in rough water. Should be a very similar hull to the tx18 I would think.

I have been in a lot of boats and my Allison was the best riding boat hands down of all the boats I've been in but a real close 2nd on ride in my opinion is a Skeeter they ride like a Cadillac. It's almost impossible to find a used Allison because people who own them usually keep them. Triton rides well too and that is the 3 I would consider first for ride , comfort, and fishability. I haven't ridden in a Stratos in 30 years so I can't say one way or the other on them

The newer aluminum hulls ride very well, but will never rival the ride found in fiberglass hulls in my opinion. If your going to spend the money for new, I would lean towards a fiberglass, especially if your financing it. Look at what 10 year old trackers are selling for compared to what 10 year old ranger, skeeter, tritons, etc are going for. If I was going to borrow money to own a boat, the resale value would be a huge factor in my decision.
