Heading down to the chick in late April. Staying around Dallas bay. Wondering if there was any good tackle shops close by

Soddy Custom Tackle is the store you want
to shop, these guys know bass fishing and have
everything one needs for the Chick.

there was a new tackle shop due to open on hwy 58 near the school. Last time I was at Soddy Custom Tackle he told the guy on 58 would have some of his lures in stock. Not sure if the place ever opened. If you want live bait go to Jack's Bait & Tackle. Kingcab is spot on. Great place just a drive from Ooltewah for me.

I live off of 58 hwy but I use Soddy CT if I need something for green/brown fish and Jacks for minnows/shiners.

Just heard it announced there is a new lodge/ tackle shop being started near the entrance of Chester Frost Park
