Bank beater beginner discussions

Sorry I've been doing some searching but I am not sure how to find the discussions I'm try to find. I wondering if there is anything here that can help me figure out and recognize cover that would hold bass from the bank. From google searches I know bass love grass, wood, rocks. Etc. From my times out I haven't found much success. I've done some fishing at Chester Frost and a little at Harrison Bay, but might have caught 4 bass in over a dozen trips. 3 of which came from just chucking a Texas rigged worm out and pulling it through the grass near shelter 3 at Chester Frost. Chester Frost is nearest my home.

Looking forward to an insight you folks can share.

Cheers,
Tim

All of the piers and docks are structure that can hold bass. When the hot sun’s out, they really, really, like shade. Pitch as close to shade as you can; getting under docks is even better. Keep in mind that bass don’t feed continuously, though they can be coaxed into a bite at other times as well. Sometimes, they just aren’t biting.
