6 volt Deep Cycle Batteries X 2? Just Curious

Would 2 6v RV/golf cart batteries be much better than a 12v deep cycle for trolling motors?</p>

Just idle curiosity.

The weight would be the issue that I see
a 6v battery has a longer lifespan than a 12-volt model but wired up for trolling I don't know.

SO BASICALLY I REALLY DON'T KNOW BUT IT'S AN INTERESTING IDEA
