Looking for tips or advice on working lures or soft plastics in the abundance of loose floating eelgrass on Nickajack. Just about every cast this year, I reel in a strand or two. It’s like everywhere I fish, it’s like a string trimmer has cut a ton of monkey grass and thrown it in the lake. Especially affects top water presentations. Have not noticed near this amount in past years. Thanks in advance.

It will only get worse. I don't think there is a good solution for fishing it

I agree, its horrible this year, forget top water and crankbaits, all the floating grass fowls you line or hooks.
