Duckett Ghost rod turning yellow

I got my Ghost last February and i have recently noticed it turning yellow. I know that eventually most white rods turn yellow. I am curious if anybody else who has this rod has experienced the the same thing. The rod is still an excellent rod. It's just disappointing that it is already turning yellow after 11 months. I also have an Abu Garcia Veritas. I have had it for over 3 years now and it is still as white as the day i got it. emoScratch

mine is also yellowing. Must be the epoxy coating they use. My Micro Magic rods are still white as snow.

Most people will advise you to keep it out of the sun as that's what causes this. Which i dont understand how that works if you are one of the few that fish outdoors like I do?

I have heard of these turning yellow pretty quickly. Head scratcher for sure...

take it back and tell them you bought a white one.

I have never known of anybody owning a ghost and it not yellowing within the year. Im sure you can take some acetone to it and it will more than likely take it right off.

Mine did the same thing after about a year.
I thought it was from eating Cheeto's lol.
I kinda like the new color. Looks like ivory.
