For anyone that cares-if you like good New Enland clam chowder, try Tony's Seafood 's chowder in a can in the soup isle at Publix stores.
This stuff is out of Cedar Key. Fla. He went up to New England and won 3 straight world championships with it.
Personally-it's the best I ever had out of his restaraunt and the canned stuff is great.
It's about $3.80 for a 15 oz can and makes about a qt. Read the instructions carefully.

I'm so glad you posted this. I was at bilo a couple weeks ago and got 5 different kinds of clam chowder and just wasn't really a fan of any of them. I can't wait to try this. Thanks (also where can I find corn chowder that tast like shoney's old corn chowder?) I loved that stuff!

That's not Tony Chachere's is it?

No sir, the can just says Tony's on it. The lable is pretty much black and red with their 3 time world champ medal on it.
I called Publix in E. Brainerd and they said they had it on the shelf.
I learned that after ordering a case from their online store. (Tony's Seafood .com)
!2 cans was $60, it's less than that at the store! (I found out after I ordered!)
