In order from most often thrown to least.
1. Shakey head, Ned Rig
2. Squarebill
3. Runcl frog
4. Deep diving crankbait
5. Wacky Rig
6. Spoons and castmasters
7. Buzzbait
8. Spinnerbait

Spinnerbait is definitely the least to be thrown for me. I've caught fish and had some success of most every type of lure but not a spinnerbait.
What's your thrown list?

oh wow, cant say that i have a favorite lure, my standard response to this type of thing would be "whatever they're biting" but i do have stuff that i enjoy more than others:
RW Series V-Twin buzzbait
pitching a jig in heavy cover, any kind of flipping
The Roller

A WORM, ANY TOP WATER, JERKBAIT, CRANKBAIT, SPINNERBAIT. Like Rusty said, whatever I can get them to bite and seasonal.

trick worm in spring and summer
jig and jerk bait in fall and winter
this seems to work for me when the fish bite.

A lot depends on the lake I am fishing. I'm a soft plastic guy 80 to 90% of the time because there is such a varity of type to chose from. I can normally catch fish on about anything soft from worms to swim baits and all in between. If I am keying on Smallmouths it is Tubes and Craws and if I'm on a lake with a big Largemouth population I will go to an assortment of worms and stick baits but always have a fluke rod on the deck in case a jump shows up. If I do go to a hard bait is is normally a Buzz bait or a Shad Rap in SSR 7 or SSR 9. Both will work in jumps really well also.

Popper (Can catch a lot of fish, and will occasionally get you a giant)
Walking topwater (Gunfish, Rover, Ima Skimmer)
Plastic Worm, be it shakey, weightless, or ole reliable texas rigged will always catch fish, becoming a fan of the Neko rig too
Chatterbait (Have caught the biggest fish of the year last 3 years on one, not an all the time bait, but wow, when they do hit it)
Mann's Baby Minus 1 (If you want to get a ton of bites in warm water throw it and reel it slow)
Buzzbait/whopper plopper

I love to catch them on top, and when they will hit topwater I will always have one tied on. I normally catch my bigger fish on top. I didn't list a frog because I seldom fish anyplace that has much grass other than Chick and I never seem to fish it at the right time for the good frog bite. A couple of springs ago I had an absolute monster come up and grab the legs of a frog around some flooded bushes and take it down like a bream will a bobber, but it never got the hooks. It was April on Chick and I saw the fish, would probably have been my personal best, fish was easily double digits.

Number one bait for me is an easy one: Hollow Body Frog. (only downside is I can't throw it all year)
2) Flipping of any kind
3) Top water - (Whopper Plopper, Pop-R, Spook, Buzzbait)
4) Chatterbait (PB and 3rd best both caught on one)
5) Jigs
