Must be bait... where are the fish??

I went down to the Chickamauga Dam after work yesterday and there were at TON of birds!!! they were thick from the dam even past the train bridge. so i figured where there are birds there must be bait, which there should be fish!!! i made about 40 casts without a single hit!! to an earlier post.. "where are the fish???"

was not there real very long, but a 3/4 white hair jig..

Find the birds, find the fish! Heard it forever and its rang true until about mid december.

That was my thought!! find the birds and there will be fish. now guess im waiting for warmer weather also!! hope everyone can find better luck than me!!

just have to get warmer water. Mother Nature spoiled us the past few years with the mild winters. Look for the eddy's from the powerhouse to the trestle. Banging into the rocks is where they have always been along the banks.

I bet it's all that dead shad getting pushed through from that rain.

We didn’t get a bite yesterday fishing around birds or bait. The majority of our fish came from breaks or points in 8-9 feet with scattered rock or wood.
