My computer says that my copy of windows 7 is not genuine. don't have the original keys to put back in. any suggestions.

You should be able to still take advantage of the free upgrade to windows 10 (if you want to upgrade your OS altogether) by using the Windows upgrade assistant. Last year they quietly announced they were doing away with it, but it still seems to work. A quick google search for Windows upgrade assistant should get you rolling on the right path. As with anything, just make sure you back up your system before upgrading.
