Axle Ratio

Hey I need some opinions on the best rear end axle ratio for a tow vehicle. I'm not very happy with my GM product that has a 308. Any thoughts???

3.23 gives me the best combo of performance and economy.

If you get the GM tow package, you get a 3.42 ratio plus trans and oil coolers. That's a good combination. I would want those items on my truck or SUV whether I towed anything or not.

3.73 would be optimal for towing, but not as economical fuel wise. 3.55 would be a happy medium for towing and fuel economy.
