Asking for a friend. He has a 02 225 Yamaha
He is wanting to buy a battery and the question is should he buy a deep cycle or a dual purpose. This is for his cranking battery that also runs his electronics. Thanks in advance.

I have run a duel purpose, group 29, for the starting/accessory battery. Haven't run out of juice yet. My next will be a duel group 31 AMG.
