Boat ramp warning FYI ---

I do ALOT of bank fishing below the Chick Dam and as i have said before behind chatt state in numerous areas down the walk way.. Though this is what gets me and to as i say Warning or FYI.. Almost every time i go up there to fish.. it seems as though there is always at least one and sometimes a few people who fish DIRECTLY from the boat ramp! i have questioned one or two people about it and asked if they have read the sign at the top of the ramp that CLEARLY states NO FISHING FROM RAMP OR CONCRETE PIER and they have told me, "oh they never check us or tell us to leave". i wish rangers would police this better. but my concern here is to a lot of you whom I am sure that put your boats in at this ramp, please realize how many hooks lures that i am sure have been lost on this ramp that could potentially get caught in a trailer tire especially when the water actually does get all the way back down. just a a fisherman looking out for the rest us!!
Good Fishing to all and have a great weekend!!

Not there but at other ramps I've had to launch right through swimmers and people fishing the ramp. You're the bad guy when you do that BTW.

JEEPnFISH,
I DO NOT fish anywhere NEAR the ramp. I am several hundred yards or further way down the walk way out of sight of boat ramp. I just dont understand why people cant read and follow posted signs on the river!! I am merely just making everyone aware that i see people on this ramp all the time fishing where they should not be... because i feel it could create trouble for someone putting their boat in at the ramp.. and let alone maybe get a stray hook in their foot while launching there boat!
Good Fishing..

You read his comment he wrong way. Hes saying you (a person) launches a boat THROUGH swimmer and fishermen, THEY are viewed as the bad person.

JEEPnFISH,
My Apologies.. I did read your comment wrong.. Though for us fisherman, it still really does suck especially when you are launching boats etc and it could mean having to patch a tire or worse buy a new one and those are the things i am worried about. oh well hope the weekend was good to you! Good Fishing to Everyone!!
