Boat ramps

I was wondering who is responsible for the boat ramps on the lake & below the dam? Someone told me the county is, but I thought TWRA would be, there are many ramps that don't have a dock to tie your boat to or get on or off? emoScratch

Depends on the ramp. Different ramps have different agency that operate them.

Why do you need a dock? A dock just invites people to fish off them (in the way), or to tie-up to them (in the way).

Yes I know that goes on it is aggravating, I guess if you don't have a nice boat it may not matter or if you have a keel guard, but what about being in the boat by yourself especially if there is a lot boating activity on the water or current or wind, because some of the ramps don't have a no wake zone. There are rules like at Booker T Washington park no fishing on dock!

I know what you mean. I am almost always by my self and it really is nice to have a decent way to secure the boat. There are some ramps around here that really don't work well for solo put in and take out.
