I am in need of a new boat cover and and need something that is going to last!!! I need something that is water proof/weather proof and ALSO will not break down and get brittle from the sun! i have to park my boat outside and need a good cover i can depend on. i have a 2000 model I/O 19 ft bayliner capri. also i do not want cheap plastic buckles as i have found that those also break down and are trash. i have looked a little bit and found something called seal skin covers and a hand full of other websites that offer boat covers and "say" they have a good product. PLEASE HELP!!! thanks again and good fishing!!!

Go to carverboatcovers.com. I bought one a few years ago and it was great for storing my boat outside. I didn’t get one that is for pulling. You can call them and they are really helpful.

I don't have a garage or basement and had a ranger cover over mine. over time it is tough to get many years out of any of them. It seems even if they are waterproof they cause it to sweat inside and hold moisture. I was constantly having remove it on nice days to let every thing dry out to save my baits from rusting and keep mold and mildew from starting. Believe me that wasn't easy this year with all the rain we were having. I even had to replace all my tackle trays with waterproof ones. I found a deal and picked up one of those metal carports and just keep a cheap ebay cover on it, more or less a dust cover. You can get one for the price or less than two good covers are going to cost and will get years of use out of it.

Tight Lines, go to Lowe's and buy a bottle of Terro Ant Killer. Apply according to instructions and your ant problem will be history. Just make sure you put out enough because they eat the stuff like crazy. It works when the workers take it back to the queen and it kills her too.

Put a box of mothballs in the boat while it is covered.

+1 for Aurora boat covers. Fought with cheaper other covers for years until I decided enough was enough. Did my research and landed with Aurora. Customer service is excellent and the cover fits my Cat like a glove.
