Please disregard my other post. I sould have been more specific about what I was looking for.
I'm interested in what brand, color and lens type you find are best for fishing. Since I lost mine Wednesday and will have to get some new prescription ones.

The best prescription sunglasses are Maui Jim. They aren't cheap but they are the best. I love mine and I don't have any eye strain at all.

just got a new pair of Oakley's. tri-focals very good so far. I got the ones with side shields and bronze lenses
Stay away from Costas. my old ones fell apart and the rubber around the nose piece disintegrated had to super glue them.service was non existent.

Vince that's strange. I have been wearing Costa for around 10 years and their customer service is incredible. If the rubber comes off around the nose (from sunscreen) they will replace usually with a brand new pair. I've gotten several brand new pairs over the years for $12 charge.

good to hear. maybe mine was an isolated experience. I was told a minimum of six weeks. My prescription also changed a little, so time for a replacement.

Ive wore Costas for years. Won a pair of Maui Jim's and I havent taken them off. I wear the "world cup" frames. I have them in the grey lense, but most would prefer the amber lenses for shallow bass fishing and low light running. Check out Maui's website, they have ton of different lenses to choose from and their site will show what each one looks like. they arent cheap but you get what you pay for.
