Quite a few folks do. I used to a LOT years ago. Now I toy with it but I'm not hardcore at it. There are quite a few who are hardcore... huge boats outfitted with 1,000's of watts of halogen lights, etc. But the ones I know stay pretty low key.

You don't have to spend all that money. Simply wading the shallows of Chickamauga Lake can be lots of fun for carp and gar. I learned from my parents (pictured) WAY back in the day (also hanging in the East Ridge Bass Pro Shop).

What’s the best time to start getting out there? Might try tonight. Since it’s the first sunny day in a while.
