So my wife brought up an interesting question, why doesn't Jacob wheeler use local sponsorships like Soddy Bait and Tackle and some of these fishing shops around here along with his other sponsors, or is he allowed to? Thanks in advance!

I would think their advertising budget couldn't support folks like Jacob, or any of the other area BASS or MLF pro's. Buddy Gross has Lake Chick, and Fish Dayton, both with access to much more advertising dollars than Soddy Custom Bait. I world spend my budget locally for more direct impact.

smaller local shops just cant afford the big names of the sport and MANY of the smaller shops just choose not to sponsor even local fishermen.

Maybe Jacob could do local businesses a favor by putting a SB&T or a JB&T sticker on his boat.
