A long time member of the fishing community has lost his fight with Cancer. If you fished the local dog fights or the CBA you probably knew Allen. His personality was as big as he was physically. He and his wife helped me out a lot when I was CBA president, and I will always be grateful for that! I don’t know any arrangements yet, but I wanted to pass the sad news on. Please say a prayer for his sweet wife and family. I bet he is running WOT in a center console Allison in that big pond in the sky! He will be missed!

That's hard to believe how fast that cancer can take you out of here, just a few weeks ago I talked to him as he was putting his boat in the lake at Chester Frost to go fishing and he was in good spirits just like always..

Wow, I had no idea he was sick with cancer. This is awful news. I'll never forget fishing a Thursday night did fight I was running up river behind Treeman who was racing up river, all of a side I see a wall if water and his boat flooring right side up, Treeman looked like a Dd22 skipping across the water, we rushed up to help him, he was fine got back in his boat and flew in up river. Jmax and Bettlespin were right there too to pull him out of the water. He said I'm A llittle bruised but I'm more upset about losing my flashlight. I thought wow after a ride like he took, what a man to only get upset about a flashlight.
I know there are many stories that could be told for days, Treeman was truly one awesome fisherman but more so an incredible person. RIP Tree

Hard to believe. I miss you all after moving and Treeman was no exception. I missed him too. :( Good friend, great fisherman and an awesome guy. He took my money many of times. emoBigsmile Tndoe, I remember that well, we were right behind him and he was flying. We were going around 80 or 90 ourselves and he was beating us. emoEek All or a sudden he hit a wave and lost it, his boat put up a wall of water and threw him out of it, I remember seeing his big butt skipping across the water like some flat rock someone had thrown. Me and Beetlespin thought he might be dead or at least broken up. emoConfused I was amazed to see his boat landed right side up and he was kind of looking at us stunned. I grabbed him and we asked him if he wanted us to take him in. He replied, "Nope, I am fine, got a tournament to fish." He asked us to take him to his boat, he stuck the kill switch back in, fired it up and hauled off fast as heck like nothing had happened. He was one tough dude. emoThumbsup Rest in peace my friend. I want to fish against you again in heaven. emoAngel Jmax

Sad to hear about Treeman. Thoughts and prayers go out to his family. I remember first meeting Tree many years ago when he was fishing the Monday night dogfights with his brother Chris. He gave me lots of pointers on how to set up my boat. He was a good man and a good fisherman. God speed Treeman.
