Crappie HELP

Hey folks,
I don’t know much about crappie fishing but the wife wants to go this evening. Without giving away your honey hole I was wondering if anyone would be willing to share some helpful advice I can use to put her on some fish!

Boat or bank fishing?

If in a boat check the brushpiles/blowdowns across the creek from Wolftever ramp. All the way down that bank has always been fairly good.
