Scenic City Fishing Garners TripAdvisor 'Travelers Choice' Award

Once again Scenic City Fishing has received TripAdvisor's Travelers' Choice® Award. Scenic City Fishing is #1 out of the 44 "Outdoor" Chattanooga-area businesses included on TripAdvisor.

Every year Tripadvisor®, the world's largest travel platform, selects top-performing business for its annual Travelers' Choice® Awards. This coveted award program celebrates travelers' favorite hotels, restaurants and tourist resources around the world, honoring only 4,817 unique businesses this year (out of nearly 9 million business listed on TA). These businesses are among the top 1% of all listings on Tripadvisor. Winners are calculated based on the quality and quantity of the millions of reviews, opinions and ratings.

Lindsay Nelson, chief experience and brand officer at Tripadvisor said, "The Travelers' Choice program is one way that travelers and diners can benefit from the real-life experiences of other people so they can plan their perfect trip that meets their needs, budget and style."

Scenic City Fishing has consistently retained a "5 Star" Rating on its TripAdvisor reviews. Here's a sample of what some reviewers had to say:

Jim J writes, "Had an excellent trip Bass fishing with Captain Ben Hayes. This was the 4th annual fishing trip my grandson and I have taken with Scenic City and look forward to continuing with our annual tradition next year."

TNF665 writes, "Captain Joe Jellison took me out for a half day of cat fishing on Nickajack Lake. We caught over 25 fish including my new (Personal Best) for channel and blue cats. Joe is an awesome guide and a great person. Joe contacted me a couple times prior to our trip to ask me what I wanted to fish for and what my expectations were for the trip. He listened to me and worked hard to give me the best experience possible. I highly recommend Captain Joe for your future fishing trips."

Anthony P writes, "Scott Lillie was an incredible guide. He was professional, personable and very knowledgeable. My grandson, Noah, caught 21 yellow perch, largest was 16". Scott treated Noah like he was his own son. Scott was diligent and very safety conscious. The equipment used was top notch. I would recommend using his services to anyone, especially with young children."

Ross R writes, "We went on a half day bass trip with Captain Chris Peters on Chickamauga Lake. It was easily the best guided trip we have ever been on. Captain Peters is truly an expert. Not only was he able to teach several different techniques for finding and catching bass, he was able to adjust quickly and make sure we were having fun and catching fish. I would highly recommend Captain Peters for any experience level. I will absolutely book with Captain Peters again in the future."

Rodney H writes, "If you're thinking about booking a fishing trip, stop thinking about it and book a trip with Scenic City Fishing Charters! Sam Simons was our guide yesterday on Lake Chickamauga and on our half day trip we constantly caught fish. Numbers of Largemouth, Spotted, and Smallmouth Bass were all caught early in the morning. Later we caught big Blue and Channel Catfish. Scenic City has several guides to accommodate you, and customize your trip. Work ethic says a lot about a person and the business they represent. Sam was on the water before we got there catching fresh, live bait and getting everything ready for us. On the trip it was myself and 2 boys, 9 and 10 years old with little to no fishing experience and Sam made us all look like pros! I just can't brag on these guys enough. I will be back!"

txaggie84 writes, "This was the second year that my cousin Joe has flown here from Oklahoma to go catfishing. Yes, Oklahoma does have catfish but they don't have Ty Konkle and Scenic City Fishing Charters. Ty has an absolute passion for putting fish in the boat that borders on a psychotic obsession. (If catfish have post offices we're sure his face is on the wall.) In one day we landed over 500 pounds of fish including a 70 lb. flathead, a 78 lb. blue and too many 20-30 lbers. to count. We're both in our late 50's and fished our whole lives. We agree this was the best fishing we've ever done. Already planning next year's trip!"
