Linking G4N to G3N unit

Looking to get a new Helix 8 MSI -GPS G4N unit at my console. Will I still be be able to link this unit to my G3N unit up front? Just wanted to make the pin connections are still the same and nothing has changed with network adapters in Hummingbird moving to G4N. Thanks.
