Drum Master and I caught so many big bass on perchjerker's hole yesterday we tore up every reel we had and both of us are in arm slings this morning. Whew. I'm never fishing perchjerker's holes again.
Actually, we fished from about 7pm to 11 and caught several fish including 6 or 8 keeper largemouth (biggest maybe a little better than 3 lbs) 2 keeper spots, a bunch (didn't keep accurate count) of slick largemouth, many white bass, 4 or 5 drum, 1 baby rockfish, and 1 sauger with a lamprey on it!
DM threw a big swim bait of some sort and I threw a silver buddy. We fished various river ledge and creek ledge areas. If I had to put an average depth on them it would be around 20 ft. Oh, the drum came on corn dogs.
And we saw the monster catfish phenomenon as posted in the general discussion area.
