i am lookin to buy a 2007 skeeter zx 225 with 07 yamaha v max hpdi 225 just wondering everyone reviews and stuff on boat before i purchase let me no please

Nice boat rides great motor loves the oil and drinks the gas. I've had both Yamaha 225 and 250 hpdi. Both 07 models motos ran great but compared to my 250 pro xs they sucked the fuel and consumed alot of oil

thanks for the info that was my main concern was the fuel and oil comsumon i have never had the yamaha engine always ran merc engines so didnt know a whole lot bout these motors or the dependabilty of one

I had an '07 ZX225 with an HPDI and I currently have an '08 with an hpdi. They have been very reliable for me with no issues ever. I had an '06 175 HPDI with 400 hours with no issues ever as well. The ZX225 is great on fuel for a 20ft boat. I have the yamaha Command link on my current boat and it will get 4.8 mpg at 4200 rpms. BTW I will sell my 08 ZX225 which has a power pole pro series, Lowrance HDS7 with structure scan, Lowrance LCX 28HD on the front. It has warranty until July 2013 on the engine. I will sell for $29k

Thanks for info bud and I would def be interested in your boat cause i not supposed to get the other until Friday if he dont back out but my only deal is I was trading him my 2011 bass tracker annnd money for difference so dont know if u be interested
