lance i can't say that i've had them in my boat for three years and have not had one problem out of them i have the yellow top for cranking and the yellow top for trolling used them last sat in the usa bassin tx and my leg was sore from trying ot keep the boat headed in the right direction all day and they were still strong at the end of the day and the wind blew something awfulall day

,,,wait just a minute Lance! I've got two blues on my trolling motor that so far are the best I've ever had! Now, they are only one year old but, so far have out preformed anything I've had before. {Interstates, 5 of them} I've never had an Interstate last for more than 18 months on my engine or trolling motor. I think I will need to replace my engine battery this year, another Interstate. If so I'm going to buy a yellow Optima. I was at Sears today and looked at their batteries. They were $189 / $239 on the big marine batteries for cranking or deep cycle!? We've all been on this battery thing before. The only thing else I would consider buying is the big Delco marine.

I guess I just had a bad set. If you go to some of the larger sites like bassboatcentral you can find lots of examples of other horror stories with them. I'm running a diehard platinum starting and two Cabelas AGM's for the TM.

Sears Diehard Platinum PM1 batteries are the bomb. Have two for my trolling batteries and I can go all day and not even start to run them down.
