Buiding this set For the founder of the BOC; for fishing the Big Flathead Cats out of the trees and anywhere else they might want to stay after they get stuck. .. They ought to serve his grandson well one day.LOL..

I have 1 coat of Flex Coat high build UV on now, will have 2-3 coats on all wraps and tiger when completed. The tiger is my best one by far. Pics don't do it justice, but its not to bad.

Blank - RCJB84H , 7’ - 30/60 – Fast – Hvy. SW Jig/Boat
Guides - ATC, HZCSU, Titanium Nitride Boat Rod.
Under-wraps – 221 Orange, A – 521 Classic Twist Blk/Org - A.
Over-wraps – 221 Orange, C – 109B DKOrange/Blk D.
Tiger-wrap – 221 Orange, C – 001 Blk C first run. 1 Hvy coat high build.
Second run - 109B DKOrange/Blk D – 200 SB/Pulled. 2-3 coats High Build.
With 221 C Orange, 3 turn inlays.
Cork Handles.
ATC H/D Alum seat (silver) trimmed.

emoDoh What was I thinking emoUSA Looks pink under the light in the pic's. emoScratch But these babies are about as brite orange and as sharp as you can get. Thanks Kenny.

Any reason why you didn't spiral? To me it seems like a perfect rod to spiral.
 
You have done a awesome job of building that rod, I can tell you take pride in your work as well you should, Art in your craft great job.

Here is #2 spinning on the drier as I type, Tiger looks as good ,maybe better than the first, but each one is different. Be putting the finishing touchs on them soon.

That is awesome! Do you do all types of rod work? I have an all-star that needs a guide replaced. Could you do it? How much might it cost?

emoSorry Havn't done any repairs ( yet ) But thanks for the comment and the thought.

One of these 2 gentlemen ( Fat Albert- Puddle Jumper ) should be able to take care of the problem, and do a super fine job for ya,emoThumbsup ,better than that they might know someone that is closer to you than they are.

Thanks for the coment, Oh yeah it would have made a nice one, But Customer preference has alot to do with it. emoSmile
 
These are the butt-caps for them .Paul is a Iraq vet, and these silver eagle heads came from a 70's veitnam medallion I had, I took a dremel and cut them out and installed them, Bothwill be orange to match the rods.
