Part I
Went fishing with JDEES this morning out of Grasshopper. This had to be the most perfect weather day for fishing ever. The only problem was the fish did not get the memo. We fished Sale Creek for most of the 7 hours (yep, 7 hours). Not much to talk about. I did manage a smallmouth that was close to 2 lbs on topwater. I think we boated around 10 bass total. JDEES was a great guide and I hope to hit the lake with him again soon.

Part II
Met AlvinC at the Riverpark at 4PM to chase some spots. The first hour was dead. After that we found the pattern and started catching good fish. I cannot disclose the pattern until after the tourny this weekend as it is the same pattern that has been holding true down river also. We each boated a 2+ lb spot. Both fish looked like footballs. We ended up with 19 total in the boat. I will say it was a slow 19 and those of you that fish for spots will know what I mean. Fish were caught on pig n jig (what else), finese worms, brush hog, and white crank bait.

Numbers
3 largemouth (1 was almost 12", others were smaller)
1 smallmouth (less than 12")
15 spots

So in total I fished 10.5 hours today. Not bad. The weather was PERFECT!!!!!

Black and Blue with a Black and Blue Uncle Josh pork trailer. 3/16 oz I think.

Do they make any other colors?emoPoke

I thought jigs only came in Black and Blue MrWhiskers! No reason to fish another color ever :)

Watch Burger will be all over me in a minute screaming Green Pumpkin!!!

Mr Wiskers didn't you guys see anything on top? They were really busting it down stream just a little bit. Is there much weed/grass left up there?

We saw something busting far off but don't know what it was. Could have been skipjack. The grass is dead. When you touch it is just falls apart. The water was a funny color as well. Kinda of brown/green.
