11/11 on the Bar - Some Nice Fish

Fished with 2 other boats out of Rockwood. One of the other boats zeroed for keepers. Our boat had 4 good keeper bites with 3 LM boated for a total just under 10lb. Our largest was just under 4lb. The 3rd boat had a very nice sack of 4 fish that included a LM @ 7' and a SM @ 5' for a total just under 15lb. That total would have won a BUNCH or Tx's up here lately. The fish came relatively shallow. The big fish bit a jig with the remainder on a variety of small crankbaits and spinner baits. A fair number of non-keepers were also in the mix. Good day on the old Bar.

Great report jph3. I fished Watts Bar Friday and didn't do near as well. I only caught 2 smallmouth @1 1/2 lb each and one largemouth @ 2lb. Put in at the Dam and couldn't go very far until the fog lifted and fished mostly on the lower end of the lake.

great job on watts bar. that lake has been real slow for me the last couple of years. again great job.
