Tournament Qualifications and Rules -

- 150 Post PER BOAT
- Once a guest fishes a Tx with a qualified "member", he/she then gets Two (2) free passes for future Tx's, giving them the opportunity to reach the 150 post minimum.
- If that guest fails to reach the 150 post minimum by the time they use both passes, then they are S.O.L. until they get their post count up, or find another "member" to fish with
- A guest can fish all 10 Txs with a "member" if he or she so desires. That will not be condoned. However, it may not be encouraged either.
- No Live Bait, No Trolling, No Locking Through
- Official Tournament Time ends at designated time. ZERO tolerance. Token must be in "can" before the 2 minute "grace" period has passed.
- Dead Fish - 1/2 Pound Per dead fish. No More Than 2 dead fish can be weighed per boat. If a boat possesses 3 or more dead fish, they will only be allowed to weigh their LIVE fish.

POINTS -
- Points will be given out by each team's total weight. i.e.- 18.42 lbs gives you and your partner 18.42 Points. Points are kept INDIVIDUALLY throughout the year, but you will be given points at each event based on the TEAM TOTAL WEIGHT. So if Harry and Joe have 15lbs at G'Ville, they both get 15 points. Then Harry fishes with Bill at the next Tx, and they have 14lbs. Now Harry has 29 points on the year, and Bill will have 14, and so on and etc.
- A year-end points champ will be crowned at the Classic, as well as a trophy for the biggest fish of the year.
- Each Angler can drop their lowest weight total throughout the year. Only ONE Tx can be dropped.

CLASSIC -
- The year end Classic will have Double Entry Fees, which also brings a Double Pay Scale.
- To qualify, one must fish AT LEAST 5 out of the 9 regular season events.
- Both anglers have to qualify to fish the Classic
- There will be a Classic Champ, a Points Champ, and a Big Fish Champ awarded at the Classic, AFTER THE WEIGH-IN

SPECIES -
- 12" Spats - 15" Greens - 18" Browns
- Brown is Brown. PERIOD.
- A fish in question will be voted on by all those present at the weigh-in

SAFETY -
- PFD MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES WHEN THE BIG MOTOR IS IN OPERATION! NO EXCEPTIONS!!

WEATHER -
- Bad weather will be decided on by committee members present at that particular event.
- In the end, it is a personal decision to fish in bad weather.
- If someone wants to fish, we respect their decision. Same goes for someone who doesnt want to fish.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

These are all the notes I had guys. If someone has more to add, feel free to do so. None of this is 100% set in stone as far as I know, so voice any concerns or question that you may have. I'm getting fired up about these TX's! It should be a good time!!

Looks good guys to me... i am especially happy to see we are going out of Jackson County Park.  I'll notify the park of that day, so we can use the stage for weigh-in like we did waaaaay back in CFF 8

I see what you're saying BP. we did kind of get into that discussion last night. We had all just never heard of doing points by weight and it sounded interesting to us. You may be right though. That may be too big of a discrepancy. But that's why I posted this stuff so we could discuss it. It sounds like a cool way to do points, then they champ will truly be the man who catches the most weight.

As for the points for fishing a Tx....it was brought up that points should be awarded just for fishing a Tx. I dont think any of us were against that idea, but if we do points by weight then there is no way we could award points for fishing. Unless everyone was given, say, 10 points just for fishing, then weights will be added on top of that. that could work......

Yeah you are all... i had a long discussion about the weights vs. regular point system. However i went back and read the original notes, and I realized that I didn't read thoroughly enough. So edited my post :)

Looks great guys... i can't wait for the G

Looks like you guys have things thought out pretty good emoThumbsup

Nice catch Pointer!

Everything looks good to me.... sorry I couldn't make the meeting... I had to work until 8 and just got home a little while ago tonite. Been really busy with year-end projects and it's keeping me swamped during the days and into some evenings. I'll be glad when Jan 1 gets here.
