Andrew m. and I went out today. The bite was kinda slow. We nailed a few spots on jiggin' spoons. Then headed on up and I landed this smallie(a little over 4 lbs).

On a jigging spoon identical to the one mrwhiskers posted a pic of in his post for the same day.. We went right up to the gates at the damn is where the smallmouth came from. Water was coming thru but it wasnt too bad.

If it was anything like the one I caught it hit the spoon like a load of bricks. Very nice!!!!
