Here is what we caught Last Sat..... 47,43,31,29,20(flathead), one blue around 20 we didnt weigh, and two small ones we kept.......The guy I took had a pair of the rapala grip and weigh tools....he said they weighed a 10lb weight alittle light.....they hold the fish good but are hard to get back out of the jaw.....I had rather use a glove, but the scale is alright.
We also broke off on nice one.....we had it almost within sight at the boat, and it made a head shake and snapped the line, the line was really ruffed up for about 15 feet up from the break...It was down in a hole, and I figure the line must have been rubbing rocks when the fish was fighting......I think it was a 50+....I threw another rod right back in the same area and it wasn't 5 min and we had the 43 on.
