I was headed towards Crow creek ramp on Gville but didnt feel like driving too far so I put in at Sullivans on Nick. instead. I caught 6 Largemouth, 5 on a DLW jig and 1 on a jerkbait. Only 1 would have measured. Late in the afternoon I pulled out and launched below the dam. No current at all and the fishing was very slow. 2 Crappie, 2 Whites, 3 small Spots and a blue gill. I never did have to put my rainsuit on, it only sprinkled a little a couple of times. It was a pretty nice day to be out, the fish just didnt think so.

By the way Fat Albert, 5 of those were caught on my new/old FA beautifully rebuilt flippin stick. They didnt stand a chance, when they sucked in that RR-DLW jig and I swung back on that 23 pound stick, they were hademoCool

He can really build them, Flip. He just has a little trouble getting the fish to bite'em. Love ya FA. Merry Christmas, Flip.

Fa, let me make a new year's resolution right this minute. I resolve to let you off the hook everytime that I'm tempted to be a wisea** next year.

I know that you build great rods. You do great job repairing rods. (2 for me over the years). And I know that you are a great fisherman. You made the HOF. I saw you the other day on about page 20-22. Somewhere in that area of the HOF. Of course, the crankbait was about the same size as the fish that was posted. emoUpsmile But you have more big bass hanging on your wall than I have ever caught. emoTongue Next year, I'm gonna pick on MadBomber and leave you alone. And the next time that you are in the boat with me, I promise to let you catch your own fish. Do you ever fish for Crappie? Lots of love to you brother! Be careful on your trip the 24th. I'll leave cookies and milk out for you.emoBigsmile emoGeezer

<font color="#6600ff">yeah, right.....I really don't think you can keep from getting on anyone....not your nature...LOL

So 2007 will be my turn, heh?  Well, I can dish it out as well as anyone, Mr. DK!!

I know! I know! I just hope that all of us catch more fish next year. I'm gonna get Fat Albert on those stripers yet. In the spring around Mar or April, these fish that I'm catching will be in the 20's. I would love for FA to catch one over 25.
