AlvinC, Jimmy and I hit the Riverpark for the last time this year today. The weather was good except for a little breeze that kept us cooled off most of the day. The fish were deep, and most were caught between 10-20 feet. Tubes and jigging spoons caught most of the fish with AlvinC getting a couple on a lizard. The fish were very scatterd except for a stretch of bank were the (I think) original river channel runs. The boat was in 20 foot and we were casting to the bank. The smallmouth in the pic came from under the boat off the botton in 20 feet. We boated 14 out our 23 bass on this 0.25 mile stretch of bank.

Totals:
3 smallmouth
1 largemouth (only bass caught in less than 10 feet)
19 spots
4-5 yellow bass
4-5 large bluegill/longears
1 3 lb channel (also caugth in less than 10 feet)

We also lost two bass at the boat, with one of them being a little smallmouth.

Sounds like you guys had fun. Last time this year huh? Oh well, it is the 28th of December. Tomorrow will probably be my last time on the water this year too. emoGeezer
